I dont think me being more careful with my decisions would have changed the outcome drastically at the higher A levels. While I want to say A20 is one of the hardest things I have ever accomplished as a gamer, I think the idea is sort of invalid because it is ridicously luck based at that level and thus it was a game of wanting/hoping to get that golden build to beat the game and not so much about my skills. I don't think I spent a lot of time between A13 and A18 but the last two were absolutely burtal, a big special "fuck you" to the Act 2 bosses which were the main reason I had to start over so many times. Yesterday I finally beat A20 with the Ironclad (with just 1 single HP left.) so I wanted to give a final update. I am very curious to try A13 and see what the game throws at me. I watched jorbs beat A20 and the enemies seen to have the same stats and behave the same as in A12, most of them anyway, I wonder if they'll get even harder. Got just one Spot Weakness and one Limit Break shrugs-offs, Pommel strikes and Battle Trance kept the cards flowing. got rid of the the strikes and relied mostly on clashes and angers for damage while I kept putting block points. ![]() Bought the relic to begin the battle with 1 Artifact and then got the J.A.X.X start with 3 Strength points. I got each and every card that gave me something worth using, shurg offs, impervious, ghost armor, 1 Priority was defense, barricade with tons of block points from mid Act 2 till the end. The Build that gave the win had the following characteristics: it started with not reaching the boss on Act 2 to slowly being more careful with my choices until I was able to reach the Act 3 boss at least once a day but wasn't avaible to get the synergy between cards that I needed to beat them. I beat it today but took my like 10 days and Ive been trying every day, multiple times. So a couple of days after my last update, I managed to beat A9, A10 and A11 with the Ironclad fairly quickly but then got to Ascension 12 and that is where shit hits the fan. > Use Seeing red, use Double Tap, Use Whirlwind, if you have any strength Buff and more energy from relics, this will obliterate everyone.Ī question though, does every character has its own Ascencion progression or is it one and it's shared among all 4 characters? ![]() > Use Barricade, then Impervious, then Entrench then body slam. > Use Demon Form,, then Spot weakness, then limit Break+ every time you can, with Flex cards sprinkled around, You'll be over 30 strength in no time I am right now on ascension 9 and thaven't touched the other characters, only the Ironclad which is like the standard "warrior" class and as such you'll want to buff their strength to the max and deal regular damage with "0" cards like clash and anger, coupled with good decent decent strategies like Shrug-it-off's, Rages+ and occasionaly impervious.Ĭool synergies I found were (all cards in their + forms of course) Ok, so after two weeks, yeah there is a ton to learn but the game absolutely has the last say regarding whether you are going to make it through or not, the game is short and good enough that you'll want to try with different synergies and combinations. This being a card game, it feels like bullshit when a Boss will clearly deal 35+ damage and the game conveniently gives you zero defenses cards.Īre there sure-fire strategies to finish all the acts in a given runthrough or is it all luck? ![]() Here it feels like you are just delaying the inevitable. It reminds me of dead cells, in that when you lose, you unlock better equipment but in DC you can play carefully and strategically even if you have poor equipment. kind of like a casino machine that makes you believe you are about to win but ultimately it knows exactly when you are going to lose. Started playing this over the weekend and is very addictive but something feels wrong about it. ![]() (DISCLAIMER This thread was created on August 31st 2021 and has three updates)

For example, it may turn out that one is agricultural jargon, or only common among ESL speakers, or a marginal usage that just pops up from time to time. As with the separate “type of fruit” use of countable “fruit”, it seems the plural form can be “fruits” or “fruit”.Įxample of singular countable "fruit" in the sense of "a piece of fruit": However, some people do refer to these objects using the word “fruit” as a countable noun, with a countable plural form. ![]() I agree with Peter Shor that when dealing with countable objects like apples, oranges and peaches, the most natural expression seems to be “pieces of fruit” (singular: “piece of fruit”). “fruit” as conventional count noun, with countable plural “fruits” or “fruit” Forney and Wilhelmina Kalt, in Health-promoting Properties of Fruits and Vegetables, edited by Leon Alexander Terry – “Blueberry and Cranberry”, by Charles F. Many fruit from the genus Vaccinium are rich in phytonutrients, including those with potent antioxidant properties. This plural form is often “fruits”, but I have found evidence that some people use “fruit” as a plural count noun. Like nearly all mass nouns, this can be converted into a count noun “fruit” meaning “a type of fruit”, and this has a corresponding plural form meaning “types of fruit”. “fruit” as countified mass noun, with countable plural “fruits” or “fruit” This is probably the most common use of the word “fruit”, so I won’t supply any examples. The uncountable noun “fruit” (which takes singular verb agreement, like a mass noun) also exists. “fruit” as uncountable noun with singular verb agreement 20 The Breton peasant can turn all the fruits of the earth to account. §3 If the husk or seeds are eaten, they are called the fruits of the ground.ġ859 J. In its most traditional uses, it is not exactly “countable”, as it is used collectively or generally to refer to the products of something (either soil, or something more abstract). The plural form “fruits” certainly exists. “fruits” as uncountable noun with plural verb agreement I just go with what sounds natural to me. What’s “acceptable” seems like a matter of opinion. However, "fruit" is used in various ways, and some of them have some overlap with the ways "fruits" is used. There is nothing wrong with the word "fruits". |
